Rules

Rules are of the format CENTRE NORTH EAST SOUTH WEST | RESULT,
and are performed on each square each tick of the game,
where CENTRE is the value of the square itself, NORTH is the value of the square above, and so on;
and RESULT is the value that is assigned to the square if has the surroundings specified.
